What is RSS?

RSS: Really Simple Syndication

RSS is a format used to syndicate news and other web content. This includes major news organizations such as The New York Times, but also covers blogs and other types of content.

Travelport’s RSS feed offers content summaries of Travelport.com media release updates, including a headline, a brief description of the article, and a link to the related Web page where you can read the full article.

What do I need to take advantage of RSS?

To be able to read the Travelport.com content summaries available via RSS service, you will need an RSS newsreader or aggregator. These applications are often available free of charge and as either a stand-alone program or one that uses your Web browsing software. You can find them by conducting an online search for “RSS readers.”

And when I have my RSS software installed...?

The RSS symbol RSS icon on Travelport.com indicates the ability to receive an RSS feed. When clicking on the symbol, most browser versions will automatically prompt you to subscribe to the RSS feed. If your browser does not prompt you with this option, copy and paste the URL in the browser address field into your RSS reader's  "subscribe to" or "add RSS feeds" feature when prompted. Updates will be automatically "pushed out" to your reader, whenever relevant press releases are published on Travelport.com.
