Jason’s remit covers commercial accountability for all providers of air, car, and hotel content. In addition, he leads the commercial sales efforts for our digital and airlines solutions, business intelligence and digital media business units.

What’s your favourite travel destination in the world?
Kruger National Park, the expanse and wilderness are breath-taking

Have you had any holiday nightmares?
During the Rugby World Cup in Tokyo, 2019, I was caught in the largest typhoon “Hagibis” to hit Tokyo in over 50 years, restricted to the hotel safe room for 13 hours, with 140MPH winds hitting the hotel

Sunrise coffee or sunset cocktail?
Sunset Cocktail every time, a mojito with my wife watching the sun go down into the ocean, perfect, life doesn’t get any better than that

Beach or mountains?
Both, I love to snowboard and my wife loves the beach, so have to keep us both happy

Jason was appointed to his current role in August 2024 and is responsible for driving transformation, innovation and strategy for Travelport

Jason’s remit is to deliver enterprise wide transformational change, create a culture of innovation and deliver strategic programs that drive customer and shareholder value.

Jason has spent more than 30 years in the travel and technology sector, and over 20 years at Travelport. He has a wealth of industry knowledge and commercial experience, previously leading our Travel Partners organization with specific accountability for commercial relationships with our Air, Car, Hotel and rail content partners and our global agency sales organization, as well as our global customer service and operations organization, He also played a key role in the acquisitions and merger of businesses that formed Travelport. Prior to Travelport, he held senior roles at Sabre and Thomas Cook.

Jason is passionate about customers and employees. He has delivered business growth and customer service improvements over his tenure, built on strong and strategic business relationship and has initiated leading talent development programs to drive employee engagement and growth.

Jason is married to Amanda, with two children. His main interests outside of the office include, golf and sport in general, travelling and long walks with his dog.
