Travelport makes a huge range of offers and ancillaries available from a ton of sources (including NDC) and gets it ‘retail-ready’ (more on this below). Our content offering helps agencies sell the complete trip, and allows travelers to confidently assess alternatives so they don’t lose sleep over booking decisions. This sets the right expectations from the outset, so everyone earns more and makes a great impression.
Every airline, hotel, car or rail provider has it’s own API to shop, book, and service products. We package them together, taking content from different sources and putting it together in one handy place. We aggregate it, so you don’t have to manage multiple direct connections — making it easier for agents to book and suppliers to sell.
Although offers are unique, and have their own names, inclusions, etc., they all get sold and serviced in a similar way. So, once content is all in one place, we make it fit into a standardized process. This enables agents to look at products side by side, and makes them more comparable.

Some legacy technology or new delivery formats (like NDC) strip out useful context and brand information (like images, text, logos, attributes). Once content is standardized, we add it back in, enabling total offer transparency. This helps agents visualize and understand what they’re booking, so customers make the right choices, while allowing supplier brands shine through.
Once all the background work is done, we put the offers on the (digital) shelf, displaying them in a way that will help the consumer or agent find, assess, and compare them. We display only the most relevant fares and cut out anything that’s not helpful for agents or customers. This helps create the right trip, manage expectations, and make sure nobody winds up disappointed in their purchase.
